Coach David Angeron is a faith-driven coach, educator, author, and visionary Christian leader recognized by Marquis Who’s Who in America for his lifelong commitment to inspiring others to reach their God-given potential. Known for his ability to build champions — not just in sports, but in life — Coach Angeron has spent over two decades coaching, mentoring, and scouting in professional baseball, helping athletes and students discover purpose through faith, discipline, and perseverance.

Although he earned his Ph.D., Coach Angeron humbly chooses not to use the title “Dr.” He often says that doctors save lives in hospitals, while his calling is to plant seeds that God uses to save souls. His humility speaks volumes — his mission has never been about titles or prestige, but about transformation and purpose.

For many years, Coach Angeron lived what others might call “the dream.” Surrounded by success and recognition in the world of professional sports, he achieved what most only imagine. Yet behind the wins and applause, he was running from peace and purpose — trapped in a cycle of worldly pursuits and destructive habits. When his life finally collapsed under the weight of his choices, it became the moment that God began to rebuild him from the inside out.

In his darkest valley, he encountered the light of Jesus Christ — an encounter that changed everything. Through surrender and faith, Coach Angeron found redemption, healing, and a renewed purpose. The same fire that once fueled his pursuit of worldly success now drives his passion to help others rise above failure, overcome fear, and discover their true identity in Christ.

Today, Coach Angeron serves as the Founder and President of John Melvin University and the International Association of Christian Collegiate Athletes (IACCA) — organizations that combine faith, academics, and athletics to develop leaders who live with integrity, courage, and conviction. Through these platforms, he continues to empower the next generation of student-athletes to train hard, live boldly, and walk faithfully.

As a motivational speaker and author, Coach Angeron travels the country sharing his powerful story of brokenness, redemption, and renewal. His message resonates with anyone who has faced failure, addiction, or doubt — reminding them that failure isn’t final, and no one is ever too far gone for God’s grace to restore. Through his new devotional, The Power of 40, and other inspiring works, he blends biblical wisdom with real-world lessons, showing how God can transform pain into purpose and setbacks into comebacks.

Outside of his work, Coach Angeron finds his greatest joy in his family. His wife, Jean, and their four children — Drake, Drew, Reese, and Maddy — are his heart and his legacy. To him, true success isn’t found in trophies or titles, but in faith, family, and service to others.
